A quote (also called an estimate) is the document you send a prospective client before work begins, setting out exactly what you propose to deliver and what it will cost. People use it to:

The expiry date tells the client how long the quoted price stays firm โ by default it is set 30 days from today, but you can change it to any date. Including a clear validity period protects you from price changes and gives the client a reason to decide promptly.
