Survey Builder is a free, no-login tool for creating a survey, sharing it with a short link or QR code, and watching answers arrive with live charts — all without spreadsheets, plugins, or a SurveyMonkey-style subscription.
You start in the Build tab with eight question types: short answer, paragraph, multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, rating (stars), yes/no, and date. Add a title and description, mark questions required, reorder them, and watch a live preview update beside the editor. When you hit Save & Share, the survey definition is published to the cloud so anyone with the link can respond, and you get a short link plus a downloadable QR code. People use it to:
- Run customer satisfaction or NPS-style feedback forms and read results in the Responses tab as they land.
- Collect event RSVPs, sign-ups, or registrations with required fields and a yes/no or dropdown question.
- Poll a team, class, or community using multiple choice and rating questions, then download a CSV for deeper analysis.
- Gather product feedback or bug reports with paragraph questions, sharing the QR code on a slide or printout.
Responses sync to the cloud in real time so you can read them from any device, while a local copy is also kept in your browser. Building and editing surveys works entirely in-browser, and you can export every response set to CSV or JSON whenever you want a backup.
- In the Build tab, set the survey title and description, then add questions using the type buttons (short answer, paragraph, multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, rating, yes/no, date).
- Mark questions required, reorder them with the move buttons, and check the live preview panel beside the editor.
- Open the Share tab and press Save & Share to publish the survey and generate a short link plus a downloadable QR code.
- Send the link or QR code to respondents by email, chat, social media, or print — no account needed for them to answer.
- Watch answers arrive in the Responses tab with live charts and summary stats, then export to CSV or JSON anytime.
